Hi, I’m Bobbi Jo Brooks—artist, photographer, and fierce believer that every woman deserves to be seen, celebrated, and beautifully photographed.

Welcome to my studio, where your story, your strength, and your spirit take center stage. Based in North Georgia, I specialize in creating striking, emotional portraits—especially for women over 40 and anyone ready to be seen just as they are.

Before building this studio, I spent over 20 years working with an international nonprofit, including seven years living in Europe. That global experience shaped the way I see women—their resilience, their beauty, and the quiet power they often keep tucked away. Today, I bring both a local heart and a global lens to every portrait I create.

This isn’t just photography—it’s a guided experience rooted in trust, truth, and transformation. Whether you’re joining me for the 40 Over 40 Portrait Experience, an AS I AM session, or a personal branding shoot, I’ll hold space for you to show up fully and be seen without pretense or pressure.

You won’t find stiff poses or airbrushed perfection here. You’ll find realness, reverence, and portraits that honor exactly who you are—just as you are.

Beyond the Camera...

  • I’ve photographed women from Dalton to Germany, Iceland, Greece, and India—and yet, the most powerful stories are often the ones closest to home.

  • I believe a woman’s story is often hidden beneath the roles she plays—and it deserves to be seen, heard, and celebrated.

  • I host an annual gallery show and magazine celebrating the resilience and radiance of the women I photograph. Coming soon: As I Am—a raw portrait publication and exhibit devoted to the beauty of being seen without filters or expectations.

  • I mentor young photographers through my internship program, teaching both the art and the business of photography.

  • I’m a big fan of mocktails, self-love journaling, and laughing until you cry.

  • I am married to Clyf, a middle school math teacher and comic collector and a bonus mom to two amazing young people, Bridget and Branden.
